The trend involves combining McDonald's apple pie with a regular vanilla sundae for the perfect takeaway.
Social
media influencer Kirsten Titus, who goes by the name Pepperoni Muffin on
TikTok shared a video with her 1.3 million followers and liked the delicious
hack, saying in the clip: "I've been seeing this hack all over TikTok so
of course, I had to try it,".
Another
Macca hack has appeared but this one seems unlike any other hack with many
asking why they didn't think of it sooner.
In
the short clip, Kirsten removes the taro apple pie from the package and places
it in a sundae glass, then breaks it into pieces with a plastic spoon.
'So
basically you get a sundae and you take an apple pie … then you take your spoon
and basically you have to crush your pie,' she said.
This
tasty snack is priced between $5.20 and A$5.90 depending on the size of the
sundae ordered.
It looks like a new hack for Macca has come out and all that's left
people are losing their minds about how good it tastes.
All
it includes is the humble apple pie and vanilla sundae.
TikTok has become littered with videos
showing people mixing the two ingredients to form the "ultimate"
candy.
In fact, it's rated better than some of
the other Macca viral hacks that also do the rounds, like iced coffee and iced
tea.
Some people wondered why they never
thought of doing this sooner.
TikTokfoodwithmichel user, who is known
for reviewing various food hacks, said he had to give Macca's latest trend a
move after seeing it on all his social sites.
After
you buy a regular sundae ($3 in Australia) and a warm apple pie ($1.50), he
said, mix the two together.
“Open the apple pie and go ahead and dunk it into the soft serve,” he
explained in his video.
“Afterwards you’re going to want to use your spoon and break up the
apple into the soft serve. Do it for a good minute or so.
“I have to admit I like this one a lot more than the ice coffee hack and
the iced tea hack.”
His
video attracted 2.3 million views and thousands agreed that it was the best
combination.
